Confused about your exam or college applications? – MP Board Grading System 2023: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has introduced a formula for calculating the marks of Class 10 and 12 students. The MP Board reults 2023 will be prepared based on the “best-of five formula”.

1. The board will award marks, overall percentage and division to its students depending on the five subjects they have obtained the highest marks.
2. Students of class 12 have to appear for a total of 5 subjects where 3 are main subjects and the rest are elective subjects.
3. The maximum marks for each subject are 100, out of which 70 marks are alloted for the theoretical portion, and 30 marks for the practical portion.

In MP Board 10th exam, total marks allocated to each subject are 100. In the practical-based subjects, 75 marks are for the theory part, while 25 are for the practical part. To pass the MP Board 12th exam 2023, students are required to secure a minimum of 30 marks instead of 33 in each subject.

• While, students need to score at least 33% including both theory and practical papers to qualify for the MP Board 10th exam 2023.
• Apart from this, the board also award divisions to its students.
• Students secure Distinction, First, Second and Third divisions on the basis of their overall marks.
• Those who have acquired 75% will be given ‘Distinction’ diviison.

If anyone secures 60% and above, first division will be awarded, while students will pass in second division if obtained 45%. Moreover, students, either regular or private, who have failed in any one or two subjects in the exam can appear in a special exam which is going to be held after the results are declared.
