How many students are there in SSLC Kerala 2023?
Thiruvananthapuram: Education Minister V Sivankutty announced Kerala SSLC 2023 results on Friday (May 19) afternoon. The pass percentage is at 99.70 (regular). The pass percentage witnessed an increase of 0.44 per cent as compared to the previous year.4,191,128 students wrote SSLC in 2960 centers across the state this year.
A total of 4,17, 864 students qualified for higher studies. Out of this, 68,604 students received full A Plus in all subjects. ‘Save A Year’ exams are scheduled from June 7 to 14. Class 11 classes will commence on July 5. For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology those having MSc. Ed Degree in the subjects concerned with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade from any one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by the NCERT are eligible to apply for the Kerala SET. The Paper 1 of the Kerala SET exam comprises questions from two sections or subjects: General Knowledge and Aptitude in Teaching. The question paper will contain a total of 120 MCQs of 1 mark each with 60 MCQs in each section. Candidates will get 2 hours to solve the question paper. The Paper 2 of the Kerala SET exam is conducted in 31 different subjects. Candidates need to make their choice of subject for Paper 2 at the time of filling out the Kerala SET application form on the basis of their subject of specialisation at the Post Graduate (PG) Level.

In both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the Kerala SET exam, candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer.
