Those who registered for the Plus two Examination, March 2023 for the first time (Regular students) but failed to become eligible for higher studies can appear for the SAY/improvement examination. They have to register for all subjects for which they failed to attain D+ grade or above. Compartmental candidates who registered in the Second Year Higher Secondary examination, March 2023 can register for all subjects for which they failed to attain D+ grade or above. Regular students who appeared in the Higher Secondary Examination March 2023 and attained D+ grade or above for all subjects are eligible to appear for improvement examinations to improve their grade of any one subject only. Private Compartmental Candidates are not eligible to attend Improvement Examination. Students appearing for the SAY/Improvement exam in Biology must attend both Botany and Zoology papers. Candidates who had not registered for the Higher Secondary Examination, March 2023 are not eligible to register for the SAY/Improvement Examination 2023. Candidates shall appear for Terminal Evaluation (TE) of the subject concerned. The CE and PE scores (PE, in the case of subjects with Practicals) of the March Examination of such candidates shall be carried over. If a candidate had not undergone Practical Evaluation previously, he/she should attend the same along with this Examination. Otherwise he/she will be treated as absent for that subject. Consolidated certificates showing the scores obtained in the SAY Examination 2023 and in the previous exams will be issued to all candidates who become eligible for higher studies in the SAY Examination.
