Ankush, in fact, scored the joint-highest tackle points for a defender playing his debut season. His 9 High 5s in Season 9 was the most by any defender and he also registered 5 Super Tackles. New Young Player – Narender, Tamil Thalaivas Narender showed his potential right from the word go as he scored a Super 10 in his debut vivo Pro Kabaddi match.
The young raider was declared the New Young Player of the Season for scoring 243 raid points in his first-ever vivo PKL season. The Panthers rode on their momentum and inflicted an All-Out in the opening minutes of the second half.
Thereafter, V Ajith Kumar caught out Sachin Narwal and Reza Mirbagheri tackled Bharat as the Panthers led comfortably at 33-19 in the 27th minute. The Panthers kept raging on and carried out another All-Out in the 29th minute. The Panthers’ defensive unit led by Sahul Kumar showcased top form and helped their team dominate proceedings at 43-25 in the 34th minute.
