OR Bachelor’s Degree with participation in international competitions or secured 1st 2nd or 3rd position in National / Inter University Competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/ AIU/ IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. Graduation with 45% marks and at least 3 years teaching experiences (For deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained physical education teachers/coaches only) The reservation in seats & relaxation in the qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central/State Government of Orissa, whiche ver is applicable. However 5% relaxation in mark be given to ST/SC/OBC and other Eligible Categories Candidate.
Age Limit for Admission: The B.P.E.D. applicants must be within the age group of 20 yrs to 28 years for General male 20 yrs. To 33 yrs. For female & SC/ST Candidates and 20 yrs. To 31 yrs. For OBC/SEBC candidates as on 1st July. For in-service candidates maximum age limit extended up to 45 years.
Senior Secondary School (+2) or its equivalent examination passed with at least 50% marks. However 5% relaxation in mark be given to ST/SC/OBC and other Eligible Categories Candidate or those who has at least participated in International/National/SGFI/ Sports Competition or Position holders in inter-zonal Sports Competition. The C.P.Ed. applicant must be within the age group of 18 years to 28 years. However the upper age limit is 30 year in- service Candidates. Application of in-services candidate must supported with NOC from concerned BEO/DEO, failing which the application will be rejected.
